SLEDGEHAMMER MFG is the production division of Commercial Tool & Die (CT&D). For more than 40 years, CT&D has satisfied the exacting demands of the construction industry, power plants, stone quarries and defense contracting, as well as homeowners and farm managers with repairs or fabrication, machining and manufacturing. CT&D has 5,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space and is conveniently located 1.5 miles off Route 66 in Marshall, Virginia, CT&D. Please call ahead to schedule a consultation.
OUR TEAM
Jeff
Owner. Welder. Machinist. Engineer. With a degree in Engineering Science and Mechanics from Virginia Tech, Jeff helps customers with everything from repairs to design and fabrication of anything metal. He's also an avid collector of military vehicles and a member of the Military Vehicle Preservation Association.
Henry
Henry is our machinist and runs traditional lathes, and mills. He designs and programs our CNC Okuma, Haas and Fadal machines. He is a member of the AMA and a lifelong motorcycle racer. In 2018 began downhill bicycle racing and is creating his own line of durable bike parts.
Laura
Laura handles communications, payroll and bookkeeping. With a Graphic Design degree from Virginia Tech, she has been a freelance graphic designer for more than 25 years and is a member of the VT Alumni Association's Fauquier Chapter and the Fauquier High School Booster Club.
